In the spring of 2015 we received exciting news that our proposal for the first awareness ribbon for the prevention of child sexual abuse was approved by the United States Trademark & Patent Office. As we stand in support for the prevention of all forms of child abuse, we believe it is important to recognize and combat the particular shame put on victims and survivors of child sexual abuse. In order to give all children a childhood safe from sexual abuse we must exercise courage and unity to speak out for awareness, prevention education, and support for survivors.
We are so grateful for the support of Olympic swimmer and sexual abuse survivor, Margaret Hoeltzer, for participating in the press release to announce this exciting accomplishment. We’re exciting to be able to offer car magnets and pins to help others raise awareness and show support for prevention.
